LA Clippers 2026-27 Depth Chart Following Free Agency

Publish Date: July 31, 2026

With NBA free agency largely wrapped up, it’s a great time to take a look at each NBA team’s depth chart as we head closer to the NBA season. Let’s take a look at the LA Clippers’ updated depth chart following free agency, along with some analysis of the team’s incoming and outgoing players as they shape up for the 2026–27 season.

LA Clippers Depth Chart

PG: Darius Garland, Kris Dunn, Jordan Miller

SG: Keaton Wagler, Bennedict Mathurin, Gradey Dick

SF: Brandon Ingram, Kobe Sanders

PF: Derrick Jones Jr., Rui Hachimura, Baba Miller, Nick Martinelli

C: Brook Lopez, Isaiah Jackson, Yanic Konan Niederhauser

Recap:

The Clippers have had one of the most unusual offseasons this summer, making a blockbuster deal that would send star forward Kawhi Leonard to the Raptors in exchange for Brandon Ingram and Gradey Dick. However, the deal remains on hold while the NBA investigates allegations involving Leonard and the Clippers.

Even though the deal is still pending, if it goes through, the Clippers would be acquiring two talented players in Brandon Ingram and Gradey Dick. Ingram is coming off his second career All-Star selection and averaged 21.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists last season. Ingram is only 28 years old and has yet to play on a true contending team. If the trade goes through, Ingram could take his game to the next level on a deep and competitive Clippers roster.

Gradey Dick was also included in the potential trade and would immediately become one of the top young perimeter shooters on the team. Dick had an impressive 2024–25 season, but his 2025–26 statistics took a step back after his minutes were significantly reduced. A change of scenery could help Dick continue developing and return to his best form.

While the arrivals of Ingram and Dick are still unconfirmed, the Clippers’ biggest official free-agent acquisition was Rui Hachimura. Hachimura, a former Laker, will stay in Los Angeles but now joins the Clippers on a two-year, $28 million contract. Hachimura is an athletic forward who can score at all three levels and will provide valuable positional depth regardless of whether the Leonard trade goes through.

The last major addition for the Clippers was Keaton Wagler, whom the team selected fifth overall in the 2026 NBA Draft. Wagler was one of the best young guards in a competitive draft class and averaged 17.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game while shooting 44.5% from the field and 39.7% from three-point range at Illinois. Wagler can play either point guard or shooting guard and will bring his talent and versatility to a strong Clippers backcourt that includes Darius Garland, Kris Dunn and Bennedict Mathurin.

The Clippers did lose power forward John Collins in free agency, as well as Bogdan Bogdanović. While both players had important roles within the team last season, the Clippers’ new additions in Hachimura and Wagler should help replace their production, along with Ingram and Dick if the Leonard trade is completed.

Unlike other teams, the Clippers’ offseason is not finished yet, as they are still waiting for the league’s decision regarding the blockbuster deal. Whether Kawhi Leonard is on the team next season or not, the Clippers had a strong offseason, supplementing the roster with younger talent and putting itself in position to remain a playoff contender in the Western Conference.
