The New York Knicks are finalizing a trade to send Obi Toppin to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for two future second-round picks according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Toppin, 25, is a former early first-round pick by the New York Knicks. He has averaged 7.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in his three NBA seasons.
In New York, Toppin struggled to get a ton of minutes due to head coach Tom Thibodeau’s tight rotation. He will likely have an easier path to the floor in Indiana.
