Free Agent big man Kevon Looney has agreed to a two-year, $16 million deal with the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Shams Charania.
Looney, 29, is a 10-year NBA veteran who has spent his entire career with the Golden State Warriors. He has career averages of 5.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
The Pelicans will hope Looney can help their frontcourt depth. They went 21-61 last season. In the 2025 NBA Draft, they selected Jeremiah Fears and Derik Queen to help as well.
