Atlanta Hawks Shooting Guard Kevin Huerter has suffered a strained left rotator cuff. On top of the rotator cuff, there is also a shoulder capsule strain.
Huerter injured his shoulder in a victory over the Denver Nuggets on November 12. Nikola Jokic fouled Huerter while going up for a shot. Huerter left the game immediately. After Huerter left the game he received an MRI.
The Hawks announced that Huerter will enter rehab and will be re-evaluated in several weeks. Hue
Kevin Huerter is shaping up to be a bigger part of this Hawks team in the years to come. Averaging 9.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 22.5 minutes per game, Huerter was having a strong start to the season. So, this will probably allow rookie Cam Reddish to get a chance to get some minutes and experience.
In addition to Huerter’s injury, the Hawks are also dealing with injuries to Evan Turner and Chandler Parsons.
