
Free agent center Javale McGee has agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal with the Phoenix Suns according to Chris B. Haynes.

McGee, 33, is a 13-year NBA veteran who spent last season with Cavaliers and Nuggets. He has also spent time with the Lakers, Warriors, Mavericks, 76ers, Nuggets and Wizards. Last season, he averaged 7.3 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
In Phoenix, McGee will be used as a backup to Deandre Ayton, who helped the Suns get to the NBA Finals last season.
