Crowder, 30, helped Miami get to the NBA Finals last year. He is an eight-year vet who has played for six different NBA teams. He has averaged 9.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game in his career.
The Suns will get a rotational forward, who will be valuable for spacing the floor for Devin Booker and Chris Paul. There are some minutes to be had for Crowder after the Suns offloaded players to acquire Paul.
