The 2024 NBA Draft will be an important event for teams to build for their future. Here is the Isaiah Collier 2024 NBA Draft Profile.
Isaiah Collier Background

Class:Â Freshman

2023-2024 stats: 16.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.5 steals, 0.2 blocks, 49.0% FG, 33.8% 3FG, 67.3% FT
Collier was a highly touted recruit who showed flashes of potential at USC. Now he is in the 2024 NBA Draft.
As a five-star recruit, Collier signed with USC out of Georgia. He had an impressive freshman season that saw him average 16.3 points and 4.3 assists per game. Unfortunately his good play wasn’t enough for the Trojans to make the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
Following his one season at USC, Collier declared for the 2024 NBA Draft. He currently is projected to be a first-round pick.
Isaiah Collier Strengths
Collier is a good ball-handler, who has shown flashes of being able to run an NBA offense. He is able to push the ball in transition. In the halfcourt, he is able to create some separation. He can protect the ball dribbling against pressure.
With help from his ball-handling, Collier is a strong driver. He drives hard to the basket, using his strength well to get to his spots. Collier can finish through contact and shows decent usage of each of his hands. Getting to the rim and scoring can be a key part of his game at the next level.
He is a solid on-ball defender. Collier is able to move his feet to stay in front of drivers. He usually stays connected when the person he is guarding is off-ball. Collier plays solid team defense as well. His ability to make steals on the ball is also impressive, as he averaged 1.1 steals per game.
Isaiah Collier Weaknesses
Collier can improve his consistency as a shooter. He shot just 33.4 percent from 3-point range at USC. There were times he struggled off the dribble and the catch. Collier also struggled to shoot well from the free throw line, knocking down just over 67 percent of his attempts.
He has the ability to make great plays passing, but he also turns the ball over too much. Collier averaged 3.5 turnovers per game at USC. There are times where he tries to do too much and make passes into too tight of windows. If he is going to be a primary ball-handler of an NBA team, he needs to see the floor better and protect the ball.
While he has a filled-out frame, Collier has limited height. He stands just above 6-foot-2 with a wingspan below 6-foot-5. This could make it tough for him to match up with NBA-level athletes, especially because he is not an elite athlete himself.
