The Golden State Warriors will sign free agent point guard Brad Wanamaker to a one-year, $2.25 million deal according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Free agent G Brad Wanamaker has agreed to a one-year, $2.25M deal to join the Golden State Warriors, his agent Steve McCaskill tells ESPN. Wanamaker played a productive role with Celtics – and now’s expected to see some significant minutes as Steph Curry’s backup.

Wanamaker, 31, has played two seasons in the NBA after spending time overseas. He produced as the backup point guard for the Celtics, as he averaged 5.9 points and 2.2 assists per game over the last two seasons.
With the Warriors, Wanamaker will have the job of backing up Steph Curry. With Klay Thompson out for the season, the backup guards for the Warriors will likely all see more minutes this season.
