George Hill to sign with Bucks

George Hill Bucks

Veteran point guard George Hill will return to Milwaukee. At the start of the league year (August 6), Hill will clear waivers, allowing him to sign a new contract with the NBA Champion Bucks.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday night.

Hill was drafted in the first round of the 2008 by the Spurs, playing three seasons in San Antonio before bouncing around the league. This included a stint in Cleveland, which gave him a chance to play in the NBA Finals, eventually losing in four games to the Warriors.

As stated above, Hill spent two-plus seasons with the Bucks from 2018 until being traded to the Thunder in 2020. He has since been traded to and waived by the 76ers. Now, he will re-join the NBA Champions in their pursuit of a repeat.
