The Toronto Raptors have agreed to a four-year, $85 million deal to keep Fred VanVleet according to Shams Charania.
VanVleet, 26, has played four seasons for the Raptors, who he has played for his entire career. He has averaged 10.5 and 4.1 assists per game in his career, but really stepped it up last season. In 2019-2020, VanVleet averaged 17.6 points and 6.6 assists per game.
The Raptors will be in contention in the Eastern Conference with the return of VanVleet, Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam.
