The Utah Jazz have traded for power forward/center Eric Paschall. According to reports, they gave up a lottery-protected second round pick in a future draft for the 24-year-old player. The Warriors did not get a player in return.

Paschall is an NCAA Champion with the Villanova Wildcats. He won the memorable 2018 championship over North Carolina as his teammate Kris Jenkins hit a buzzer-beater three to put the Wildcats ahead for good.
He is also a good friend of now-teammate Donovan Mitchell. Paschall and Mitchell played AAU basketball together in the Northeast. The former First Team All-Rookie selection will join his old friend and the NBA’s number one regular season team in pursuit of a 2022 NBA Finals berth.
