Veteran free agent center Enes Kanter is set to return to the Boston Celtics. Kanter has reportedly sign a one-year deal to return to his 2019-2020 team.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the news via Twitter on Wednesday.
The former third overall pick by the Utah Jazz has been a sturdy NBA player since being drafted in 2011, never being without a team. This will be the second time in a row he switches from the Trail Blazers to the Celtics.
Kanter secured a career-high field goal percentage in 2021, scoring over 60 percent of his baskets. He also grabbed a career high 11 rebounds per game, while scoring 11.2 points per game. Now, he once again joins the Celtics as Brad Stevens’ front office career begins.
