Big man Domantas Sabonis and the Indiana Pacers have agreed to a four-year, $74.9 million contract extension. The Athletic’s Shams Charania was the first to report the deal.
Sabonis is a 23-year-old Gonzaga product, who has been productive for the Pacers over the last few years. He has averaged 10.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game over his career. Last season, he averaged 14.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game.
The Pacers will have a stacked backcourt with Myles Turner and Sabonis. Both players will work with Victor Oladipo to try to get the team back to the playoffs.
