For Team USA, their training camp roster consists of Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, Bradley Beal and Kevin Love. Other players planning to attend camp include Anthony Davis, James Harden, Eric Gordon, Jayson Tatum, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, LaMarcus Aldridge, Andre Drummond and Kyle Kuzma. P.J Tucker and Paul Milsap are also possibilities.
In preparation for the World Cup, the training camp team will have an 18-man camp roster. Then, the roster will be cut down to 12-man roster coached by Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich.
The 2019 World Cup takes place in China from August 31 to September 15. It consists of 32 teams from all over the world compete against each other. The last World Cup was in 2014 and was held in Spain. Team USA won the gold medal by beating Serbia 129-92. This was their second straight gold medal in a World Cup event. They also have the chance to win another gold medal in this year’s event. If so, this would mark USA’s sixth gold medal in FIBA events
Team USA will hold its training camp in August before the World Cup. The camp takes place in Las Vegas. They will also have exhibition games in places such as California and Australia.
The FIBA World Cup will be here in no time. If Team USA’s roster consists of players such as Lillard and McCollum, they have a great chance at winning.
