Crowder, Hill and Waiters Change Teams in Iguodala Deal

There is even more to the Andre Iguodala trade than most initially thought.

In addition to sending Iggy to Miami, the Grizzlies have also traded Jae Crowder and Solomon Hill to the Heat. In return, Memphis gets Dion Waiters.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania initially reported the trades via Twitter.

In his next tweet, he would go on to say that Waiters would be sent to Memphis.

This trade, since sending the disgruntled Andre Iguodala out of the Grizzlies’ locker room, has become a bit of a blockbuster for Miami. They have sent Justice Winslow and Dion Waiters out of town for three players’ worth of wing depth.

The Heat clearly have championship aspirations and wanted to improve their bench going forward. The Grizzlies have continued to embrace the rebuild.
