The Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers have traded multiple players. The Clippers are sending Eric Bledsoe, Justice Winslow, Keon Johnson and a second round pick to the Trail Blazers for Norman Powell and Robert Covington.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Friday.
Los Angeles is in the playoff picture at 27-27, while Portland sits in 10th place at 21-31. The Blazers have lost three in a row and is 4-6 in their last 10 under first year head coach Chauncey Billups. Meanwhile, the Clippers continued their dominance over a reeling Los Angeles Lakers team on Thursday night.
Powell and Covington were key members of a shaky Blazers lineup that is in dire need of a spark. A shooter like Eric Bledsoe should inject some energy, and Winslow is capable of providing a sort of all around performance off of the bench, despite his down scoring year.
