Chris Paul Traded to Phoenix Suns

The Oklahoma City Thunder are closing in on a deal to send Chris Paul to the Phoenix Suns, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnaowski.

The Thunder will also send Abdel Nader along with Paul, and receive Kelly Oubre, Ricky Rubio, Ty Jerome, Jalen Lecque and a 2022 first round pick back from Phoenix.

Paul was second team All-NBA last season averaging 17.6 points and 6.7 assists per game and led a young Thunder team to the playoffs. Phoenix will give Paul another legitimate star in Devin Booker to share the backcourt with and will hope to make the team’s first playoff appearance since 2010.
