Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul has signed a $120 million contract to stay with the team. The deal will reportedly keep Paul in Phoenix for four years. Paul had previously opted out of his previous contract with the hope of negotiating a new deal, which has now come to fruition.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Monday.

The Suns will also bring back guard Cameron Payne. His deal is worth $19 million over three years. Phoenix has now locked up two important members of the backcourt that helped lead them to their 2021 NBA Finals matchup with the Bucks.
Yahoo’s Chris Haynes reported the Cameron Payne news via Twitter on Monday, also.

The Suns followed their 8-0 appearance in the 2020 NBA bubble by taking the Milwaukee Bucks to six games in the NBA Finals. Chris Paul’s signing was a large part of what turned the team into a contender. Phoenix had previously missed the playoffs every single year for a decade before their improbable run in 2021.
With the backcourt set and Paul continuing to lead the way, now the Suns will try and finish what they started last season in 2022.
