Chicago Bulls putting 5 players in NBA Health and Safety Protocols

Bulls COVID

The Chicago Bulls have placed five players in the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols. These protocols generally deal with positive COVID-19 tests for players. Derrick Jones Jr., DeMar DeRozan, Coby White, Matt Thomas and Javonte Green are the players who have apparently tested positive.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

According to the Health and Safety Protocols, NBA players need to return two negative tests in a 24-hour period to return to the court. If they do not return two negative tests, they will have to remain in isolation for 10 days.

Along with the Bulls, the Pacers will be without head coach Rick Carlisle due to COVID. Grizzlies superstar is also out with COVID. All of this news has broken in the past 24 hours. Stay tuned to TGH for more NBA news, including updates on players entering Health and Safety Protocols.
