The Cleveland Cavaliers have completed a trade to acquire Damian Jones from the Utah Jazz according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. They will be absorbing his $2.6 million.
Jones, 28, has averaged 5.2 points and 3.4 rebounds in his career. He will now be a free agent if the Cavaliers are just absorbing his salary.
There has been no reported return in the trade for the Jazz other than dumping the salary. In addition, there also hasn’t been added compensation reported for the Cavs for taking on Jones’s salary.
