Bryant was a four-star recruit in the class of 2024, who signed with Arizona out of California. In his lone season in college, Bryant put up averages of 6.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game. He helped the team make the Sweet 16 during the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
Following the season, Bryant declared for the 2025 NBA Draft. He is currently projected to be a first round pick.
Bryant was a great 3-point shooter in his one season at Arizona. He shot 37.1 percent from deep, showing good range that should stretch out past the NBA 3-point line. Bryant is specifically adept at shooting off the catch and he moves well off-ball to get open and get those shots for himself.
His defense gives him a clear role in the NBA as a 3-and-D player in the NBA. Bryant has good size, athleticism and strength for a wing, which helps him. He can slide his feet to stay in front of drivers, but also has the speed to chase players around the court. Bryant can jump passing lanes at times and can even help protect the rim, showing good help defense in the process.
He is a good athlete, which should give him a chance to develop multiple areas of his game. Bryant uses his athleticism defensively to match up on the perimeter and block shots near the rim. On offense, he can run the floor in transition and can continue to improve his finishing ability.
Bryant did not have a high usage rate in college and also didn’t have the greatest stats. He only averaged 6.5 points per game in college and also didn’t exactly stuff the stat sheet in any other category. Bryant has a role as a 3-and-D player, but his ceiling may be limited, as we didn’t get to see all that much comparatively to other players in this class.
For such a good perimeter shooter, it was surprising that Bryant didn’t have much success from the free throw line. He shot just 69.1 percent from the charity stripe in his lone season in college. As a player that operates from the perimeter, he won’t get to the line often, but will need to hit them at a higher rate in the NBA.
He is more of a player that needs to be set up for his shots. Bryant isn’t much of a playmaker. He won’t often beat his man off the dribble and get into the lane. Bryant is capable of making good passes, but doesn’t exactly generate offense. His role will likely be restricted to playing mostly off-ball and getting him open for 3-pointers.
Projected Draft Range: First Round Pick
