Carmelo Anthony has decided to return to the Portland Trail Blazers according to Shams Charania of the Athletic.
Charania is reporting it will be a one-year deal.
Anthony, 36, is a 10-time All-Star who signed with the Trail Blazers last season after going much of the previous season unsigned. He helped Portland make the playoffs, averaging 15.4 points and 6.3 assists per game.
In his career, Anthony has averaged 23.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
Portland has been active in the offseason, having already added Rodney Hood and Robert Covington, but Anthony should still have a major role on the Blazers this season.
