Anthony, 35, played just 10 games last season for the Houston Rockets before getting cut. He did not sign with another team the rest of last season.
The 10-time All-Star will be playing his 18th season in the league. Through his career, he spent time with the Nuggets, Knicks, Thunder and Rockets. He will be seeking to win his first NBA Championship with the Trail Blazers.
Portland needed help at power forward due to injuries, which resulted in them making the move to sign Anthony. The Trail Blazers are just 4-8 this season. Anthony will join them on their upcoming road trip.
