Free agent center Brook Lopez will sign a two-year, $18 million deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Lopez, 37, is a 17-year NBA veteran who has played for the Nets, Lakers and Bucks in his career. During his 17 years, he has averaged 15.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
The Clippers went 50-32 last season and will look to go further in the playoffs in the upcoming season. Lopez will provide frontcourt depth and 3-point shooting to stretch the floor.
