The Celtics are sending two second round picks to the Orlando Magic in exchange for Evan Fournier according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Fournier, 28, is a nine-year NBA veteran who has played for the Nuggets and Magic in his career. The wing averages 19.7 points per game this season and 14.4 in his career.
Although he started in Orlando, for Boston Fournier will likely come off the bench and provide a scoring punch. Fournier will help stretch the floor, as he is shooting 37.6 percent from deep on the year.
Orlando has started their rebuild, as they have already traded away Nickola Vucevic and are listening to offers for Aaron Gordon according to ESPN. The Magic will look to add several picks in the next few drafts.
