2021 NBL Champion and Finals MVP Jock Landale will reportedly sign a two-year deal with the San Antonio Spurs. San Antonio has always been fond of international players and now Landale will replace fellow Australian Patrick Mills on the Spurs.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday night.
Landale has played basketball in four different countries. After playing for St. Mary’s University in America, he played professionally in Serbia, Lithuania and Australia. He won Australia’s NBL Grand Finals with the Melbourne United, winning Grand Finals MVP.
He will now join the ranks of Mills, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, Boris Diaw and Marco Belinelli as an international Spurs player.
