The Philadelphia 76ers have signed guard Anfernee Simons to a two-year, $12.3 million deal, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Simons is joining a new-look 76ers roster that recently made a blockbuster trade for five-time All-Star Jaylen Brown.
Along with the addition of Brown, the 76ers have a strong core featuring Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe, and Simons will bring his excellent scoring ability to an already talented backcourt.
Simons, who spent the majority of his career with the Trail Blazers before splitting last season between Boston and Chicago, averaged 14.3 points while shooting 44% from the field and 38.5% from three-point range.
