Anfernee Simons has agreed to re-join the Portland Trail Blazers. His new deal with the Blazers is reportedly worth $100 million over four years. Simons will re-join the only team he has ever known since being drafted in 2018.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Thursday.

Simons was drafted by Portland with the 24th overall pick out of the prestigious basketball school, IMG Academy. Other than a short stint with Portland’s G League Team, he has played consistently for the Blazers. He is maybe most well-known for winning the NBA’s Slam Dunk Contest in 2021.
Last season, Simons played in 57 games, starting 30. He scored 17.3 points per game in 2021-2022, which was a career high. He also notched career high in minutes, rebounds and assists per game and free throw percentage. He is now the newest addition to the $100 million contract club in the NBA.
