2015 NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala is returning to the Golden State Warriors. Iguodala’s new contract is worth the NBA veteran minimum salary over just one year. He had previously won three NBA titles with the Warriors during his seven years in the Bay Area.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the news via Twitter on Friday.
Iguodala was drafted with the ninth overall pick of the infamous 2004 NBA Draft. After eight consecutive seasons with the 76ers he became a core member of the Warriors’ dynasty, helping them to five straight NBA Finals appearances.
The 37-year-old combo guard/forward is now set to return to the team that gave him a title, possibly on his very last NBA contract.
