With the NBA teams heading back to their respective schedules after a nice break and some entertaining events in Chicago, it is time to take a look at where the teams stand. While it is easy to just look at the standings and predict that those teams will win, this year seems to not be the same case. Golden State has fallen off a cliff and even last year’s champions, the Toronto Raptors, aren’t a lock to make it back to back. Using the 888sport bet in NJ, here are the top teams one could bet on to win the NBA Finals heading into the second half of the season.

Milwaukee Bucks- +240
It is likely that one may feels this way because Giannis’ supporting cast feels better this year. Of course Middleton and Beldsoe are continuing to their thing. But, the additions coming off the bench are much upgraded from last year as well. The young gun in DiVincenzo along with the vets in Korver and George Hill provide the necessary breaks and even give the bench a powerful punch. Could this finally be the year this team makes it over the hump? It feels like it, but there is at least one other team and one specific player that the Bucks will have to overcome in order to make it.
LA Lakers- +300
There are some issues with their backcourt as it feels like Lebron is bringing the ball down the court quite a bit still. He is leading in assists by quite a bit with Rajon Rondo being almost five full assists per game behind him. The hope will be that the deadly duo will bring the Lakers yet another championship. Otherwise, teams like the Bucks could take advantage of the struggling guards.

LA Clippers- +330
The supporting cast includes the best sixth-man potentially of all time, Lou Williams. He is just doing his thing of putting up over 20 points a game while coming off the bench. Having a weapon like him against second units should terrify teams once they reach the playoffs. Also, recent addition Marcus Morris has given this team quite the boost in terms of size down low. Combine all of this with Patrick Beverley handling the ball, Landry Shamets hot shoot from all over the floor and the length of Ivica Zubac and this team is definitely one to underestimate and one’s own risk.
