The 2022 NBA season is here, which means the 2022 NBA Draft won’t be too far behind. Here is the 2022 NBA Mock Draft December 29.

1. Detroit Pistons- Paolo Banchero, F, Duke
After getting a primary ball-handler in Cade Cunningham, the Pistons can get a wing scorer in Banchero.
2. Orlando Magic- Jabari Smith, F, Auburn
Smith is a big who can stretch the floor and has athleticism. He should pair well with Orlando’s young backcourt.
3. Oklahoma City Thunder- Chet Holmgren, F/C, Gonzaga
Sam Presti seems to like prospects who could be unicorns. Holmgren is exactly that as a big who can handle and shoot.
4. New Orleans- Jaden Ivey, G, Purdue
Ivey can create his own shot and should pair well with Zion Williamson.
5. Houston Rockets- Jalen Duren, C, Memphis
Duren is more of a traditional big man, but he can protect the rim and rebound.
6. San Antonio Spurs- Jaden Hardy, G, G-League
In the G-League, Hardy has put up points, but needs to improve his outside shooting.
7. Portland Trail Blazers- TyTy Washington, G, Kentucky
Washington drives and finishes well for Kentucky and could develop into a solid player.
8. Indiana Pacers- Trevor Keels, G, Duke
Keels is a good two-way guard and can run the point if necessary.
9. Sacramento Kings- Jean Montero, G, Overtime Elite
Montero is in the new Overtime Elite league and could develop into a solid point guard.
10. New York Knicks- J.D. Davison, PG, Alabama
New York may get a point guard to develop behind Kemba Walker in this draft.
11. Minnesota Timberwolves- Bennedict Mathurin, G/F, Arizona
Mathurin has the potential to develop into a solid “3 and D” player and could complement the current roster for the Timberwolves.
12. Toronto Raptors- MarJon Beauchamp, G/F, G-League
Beauchamp is an athletic wing, who needs to work on his shooting.
13. Boston Celtics- Bryce McGowens, G, Nebraska
McGowens can create his own shot and will have to step his game up in Big Ten play.
14. Atlanta Hawks- Kendall Brown, F, Baylor
Brown is a bigger wing, who can be a solid defender at the next level.
15. Denver Nuggets- Johnny Davis, G, Wisconsin
Davis has really evolved as a scorer this season.
16. Dallas Mavericks- Keegan Murray, F, Iowa
Iowa has a new go-to player in Murray who is one of the most improved players in the country.
17. Washington Wizards- Max Christie, G/F, Michigan State
Christie has struggled early in his collegiate career, but was a highly-rated recruit and will develop at Michigan State.
18. Philadelphia 76ers- Caleb Houstan, G/F, Michigan
Houstan was a highly-touted recruit who is still finding his way at the collegiate level.
19. New York Knicks- Ochai Agbaji, G/F, Kansas
Agbaji could end up being one of the best shooters in the draft.
20. Memphis Grizzlies- Ousmane Dieng, F, France
Dieng chose to play in Australia this season, where he hasn’t had much opportunity yet, but he did play in the French League and performed well.
21. Oklahoma City Thunder- Kennedy Chandler, PG, Tennessee
Chandler is proving he can run an offense at the collegiate level with 5.3 assists.
22. Houston Rockets- Dyson Daniels, G, G-League
Daniels is a bigger point guard prospect who is passing and rebounding well.
23. Cleveland Cavaliers-Wendell Moore Jr., G/F, Duke
In his third year at Duke, Moore has shown his development as a scorer, averaging 17 points per game.
24. Chicago Bulls- Mark Williams, C, Duke
Williams is a traditional big man who can rebound and protect the rim.
25. Memphis Grizzlies- E.J. Liddel, F, Ohio State
Liddel can score in the post and is able to stretch the floor well.
26. Milwaukee Bucks-Julian Strawther, F, Gonzaga
Gonzaga has needed production from their wings this season and Strawther has increased his scoring average by 10 points per game.
27. Miami Heat- Nikola Jovic, F, Serbia
While he needs to add weight to his frame, Jovic is very skilled and can stretch the floor.
28. Memphis Grizzlies- Daimion Collins, F, Kentucky
He hasn’t seen the floor a lot for Kentucky, but when he does play, his athleticism shines.
29. Oklahoma City Thunder- Aminu Mohammed, G, Georgetown
Mohammed has scored and rebounded well for the Hoyas so far this season.
30. Golden State Warriors- Trayce Jackson-Davis, PF, Indiana
Jackson-Davis is one of the best low-post scorers in the country.
