2020 NBA Mock Draft November 18

2021 NBA Mock Draft July 29

The 2020 NBA Draft is now on the cusp of happening. Here is the 2020 NBA Mock Draft November 18.

1. Minnesota Timberwolves- LaMelo Ball, PG, USA

The Timberwolves apparently had a private workout with Ball in the last few days. They can play both he and D’Angelo Russell in the backcourt.

2. Golden State Warriors- James Wiseman, C, Memphis

Wiseman was widely considered the best recruit in the 2019 recruiting class, but left Memphis after having eligibility issues. He is an athletic big, who can contribute for the Warriors right away.

3. Charlotte Hornets- Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia

The Hornets found a good player in Devonte Graham, but could use some help just about everywhere else. Edwards can complement him in the backcourt.

4. Chicago Bulls- Isaac Okoro, F, Auburn

Chicago has several solid young players and can get an athletic small forward in Okoro.

5. Cleveland Cavaliers- Deni Avdija, SF, Israel

In order to keep Andre Drummond, the Cavs need to have better perimeter play. Avdija averaged over 12 points per game in Israel and is only 19 years old. With some development, he can become a solid NBA player.

6. Atlanta Hawks- Obi Toppin, PF, Dayton

The Hawks loaded up on wing talent in last year’s draft. Now they can get another offensive big to go with John Collins. Toppin was one of the best players in college basketball last season and can do a little bit of everything in the NBA.

7. Detroit Pistons- Onyeka Okongwu, PF/C, USC

Detroit traded away Andre Drummond and could use another big to pair with Blake Griffin.

8. New York Knicks- Tyrese Haliburton, PG, Iowa State

The Knicks have needed a point guard for a very long time. Haliburton is a big, versatile guard, who has all the tools to develop into a star player.

9. Washington Wizards- Patrick Williams, F, Florida State

It looks Rui Hachimura is going to be a good forward for the Wizards, but they will need another one this season when John Wall comes back.

10. Phoenix Suns- Devin Vassell, G/F, Florida State

Now that the Suns traded for Chris Paul, they need to continue to surround their starting guards with talent. Vassell could develop into a solid wing starter as a player who can hit 3-pointers and play defense.

11. San Antonio Spurs- Precious Achiuwa, PF/C, Memphis

The Spurs have an aging big man in LaMarcus Aldridge and need to find a future replacement. Achiuwa took over as Memphis’ best player once Wiseman left school.

12. Sacramento Kings- Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky

Buddy Hield was not happy with his role this season. The Kings should get another guard in case Hield leaves this offseason. Maxey was a very hot and cold player at Kentucky, but could be a key bench piece for the Nets when they get everyone back healthy.

13. New Orleans Pelicans- RJ Hampton, G, USA

The Pelicans are considering shopping Jrue Holiday, which means they will need to get more backcourt help to go with Lonzo Ball.

14. Boston Celtics- Killian Hayes, PG, France

Boston has been in the market for a backup point guard for a while now. They can develop Hayes behind Kemba Walker.

15. Orlando Magic- Cole Anthony, PG, North Carolina

The Magic could use some better guard play and Anthony is electric with the ball in his hands.

16. Washington Wizards- Saddiq Bey, F, Villanova

Bey can helps spread the floor for John Wall and Bradley Beal.

17. Minnesota Timberwolves- Aaron Nesmith, G, Vanderbilt

Getting shooting to space the floor for LaMelo Ball, D’Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns is imperative for the Timberwolves.

18. Dallas Mavericks- Jahmi’us Ramsey, G, Texas Tech

Dallas needs to continue adding shooters around Luka Doncic. Ramsey is athletic and can shoot the rock.

19. Brooklyn Nets- Theo Maledon, PG, France

The Nets can get Maledon to develop behind Kyrie Irving. This will especially be useful if the Nets trade some of their guards for James Harden.

20. Miami Heat- Kira Lewis, PG, Alabama

Lewis can both shoot and pass, which makes him a great prospect to eventually take over for Goran Dragic at some point.

21. Philadelphia 76ers- Nico Mannion, PG, Arizona

The 76ers could use a point guard for when Ben Simmons plays off-ball or when he is on the bench.

22. Denver Nuggets- Jaden McDaniels, F, Washington

Gregg Popovich needs to get more size on his roster. McDaniels was a highly-touted recruit, but his season at Washington didn’t go too well.

23. New York Knicks- Daniel Oturu, C, Minnesota

After getting a point guard earlier, the Knicks can take a big man here.

24. Milwaukee Bucks- Reggie Perry, PF, Mississippi State

Perry is a developmental big, who could turn into a solid role player for the Bucks.

25. Oklahoma City Thunder- Vernon Carey, C, Duke

Carey is a dominant inside player, but doesn’t offer much versatility.

26. Boston Celtics- Isaiah Stewart, C, Washington

Stewart was a good inside scorer and rebounder for Washington in his one season on campus.

27. Utah Jazz- Jalen Smith, PF/C, Maryland

Getting a developmental power forward to take over for Paul Millsap down the road could be a priority for the Jazz.

28. Oklahoma City Thunder- Cassius Winston, PG, Michigan State

Winston is a good passer and scorer, but needs some serious work on defense.

29. Toronto Raptors- Aleksej Pokusevski, F/C, Serbia

Pokusevski is a very long prospect who has skill, but needs to add muscle to his frame.

30. Boston Celtics- Josh Green, G, Arizona

At Arizona, Green played well for his freshman season, averaging 12 points per game and shooting 36 percent from 3-point range.
