The racecourse will wrap around Grant Park along Lake Michigan in downtown Chicago. Consisting of 12 turns and a narrow course for 37 cars to maneuver together.

Cup Series Practice Highs

The practice session left two of the top three drivers being road course specialists. Rickey Stenhouse Jr in the No. 47 car hit the wall hard and will have to start the race in the back of the field. Justin Haley and the No. 31 car had the wrong shocks installed and will have to also start from the rear of the field.

Qualifying

There was bad news for Chase Elliott fans as he the wall hard and will be starting from the back on Sunday. The Rest of Qualifying saw the cream rise to the top as Denny Hamlin would get the last laugh. As the No. 11 team would win the Busch Light Pole Award. The 23XI owned No. 45 driven by Tyler Reddick will be starting second next to the car owner Denny Hamlin.
