This past weekend MultiVersus held their first EVO LAN tournament. To celebrate players were granted the opportunity to earn exclusive MultiVersus items to redeem. Special codes were given out allowing gamers to unlock and receive the items in-game. Here’s how to redeem the MultiVersus Evo 2022 codes.
The exclusive items that players can get are an Evo 2022 profile icon and an Evo 2022 banner.
To claim these exclusive in-game items, players must go to the official MultiVersus website. Users will have to create or log in to their respective WB Games accounts linked to MultiVersus. to continue. Once logged into the account, players must go to redeem the code. Once prompted for a code users must type in EVO2022. The code is case-sensitive so users must be accurate or the code will not work.
After typing in the code, there will be a confirmation congratulating players on unlocking the redeemed items. However, don’t be disappointed if the items can’t be seen upon launching MultiVersus. These Evo-inspired cosmetics will not appear in the inventory and that’s to be expected. Players will not be able to equip these cosmetics until the start of MultiVersus Season One.
MuliVesus Season One was pushed backed to a later date. The delay of the first official season of the title also means the MultiVersus Morty release is delayed as well.
The official MultiVersus Twitter account first thanked players for overall enjoying the title during the launch of the title’s Open Beta session. Shortly following after, came the announcement that MultiVersus Season 1 would be getting delayed. Along with the delay of season 1 would also be the delay of the inclusion of Morty Smith from Rick And Morty. No information was given on how this new change could affect the release date of Rick from Rick And Morty.
