MNT DEW AMP has just announced the release of GAME FUEL, a new energy-boosted and vitamin-enhanced beverage created by gamers, for gamers. Designed to enhance accuracy and alertness, the drink will be available in four flavors January 14, 2019.
The innovation doesn’t stop with the beverage. GAME FUEL has taken inspiration from game accessories to create no-slip cans, as well as a unique re-sealable lid created by Xolution that is easy to open, yet prevents accidents and spills.
“Knowing gaming is an endurance sport, we carefully listened to what players have been asking for when it comes to a beverage,” said Erin Chin, senior director, marketing, Mountain Dew. “MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL is the first-ever drink created with gamers in mind. We worked with gamers to truly understand what they are looking for in a beverage when gaming, then applied what we learned to develop the product. We can’t wait to share MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL with the gaming world come January.”
In addition to the recipe and the can, GAME FUEL will offer even more gaming and esports connections. It will sponsor the upcoming Call of Duty World Series, taking place in Las Vegas on December 7-9. On top of this, GAME FUEL will partner with OpTic Gaming.
