Philadelphia Union Defeat Houston Dynamo 2-1

It was a close game for Houston Dynamo and Philadelphia Union.

The first shot of the game was by Houston player, Christian Ramirez. From the center of the box, he took a right-footed shot that missed.

Seven minutes later Philadelphia player, Kacper Przybylko, got a goal.

Two minutes later, Houston made another attempt on goal. Mauro Manotas got the ball and outside of the box. His shot on goal was blocked.

Philadelphia player, Warren Creavalle, took a shot from outside of the box. However, the shot was too high.

In the 21st minute, Houston got two chances on goal. Memo Rodriguez took a right footed shot from outside of the box. The shot was blocked, Tomas Martinez got the rebound. He took a shot, but it missed the goal.

Then a minute later, Marco Fabian got a close goal for Philadelphia. But the shot was blocked.

In the 41st minute, DaMarcus Beasley got the ball on the left side of the pitch. He took the ball down to the 18. Then, he crossed it into the center of the box. Christian Ramirez scored the ball into the bottom left corner.

Both teams came out strong, with missed shots on goals within the first minute.

In the 77th minute, Philadelphia got another goal. The ball crossed into the center of the box. It was deflected by many people in the box. Jack Elliott got a close header in that was deflected off the crossbar. He continued to run in when the ball was deflected and it made contact with him and went into the goal.

Philadelphia won the game 2-1.

Philadelphia is first in the Eastern Conference, with Atlanta only three points behind. Houston is in ninth place in the Western Conference.
