It was an interesting game for home team NY Red Bulls on MLS Sunday.

RBNY defender Tim Parker was red carded in the 35th minute for interfering with a goal scoring opportunity. This left RBNY to play with 10 men for the rest of the game.

It isn’t until the 65th minute where NYRB scores. On a turnover, the ball moves to the right wing who does a long crossing ball into the box. Tom Barlow headed that ball from the left side of the six, sending it to the bottom right corner. Atlanta keeper Brad Guzan was scrambling to get to the ball in time but did not make it.

The game ended with a 1-0 RBNY win with only 10 men on the pitch.
