
The Chicago White Sox have acquired pitcher Luis Patino from the Rays for cash considerations according to James Fegan.
Patino, 23, has a 5.23 ERA in his four-year MLB career. In two appearances this season, Patino has a 9.00 ERA. He has experience as a starter and a reliever during his time with the Rays and Padres.
The White Sox have made some moves already before the deadline to build for the future, as they have a 43-64 record. They are now acquiring a young pitcher to work with and continue to look towards the future.
