Babe Ruth

Babe Ruth was born in Baltimore (Maryland) on February 6, 1895, and died in New York on August 16, 1948; he made his sports debut on July 11, 1914, with the Boston Red Sox. Mickey Mantle is another of baseball’s great figures. He was born in Spavinaw (Oklahoma) on October 20, 1931, and died in Dallas (Texas) on August 13, 1995.
