Major League Baseball is about to start and teams have prepared their pitching rotations. Here is the Texas Rangers 2024 projected pitching rotation.
Eovaldi made the second All-Star Game of his career last season with the Rangers. He had a record of 12-5 and an ERA of 3.63.
While he didn’t have the best season of his career, Gray pitched decently for the Rangers in 2023. Gray had an ERA of 4.12 and a record of 9-8.
Heaney helps show off the depth of the Rangers starting pitching. He could be the third starter due to injuries, but had a 4.15 ERA and a 10-6 record in 2023.
Dunning started and came out of the bullpen in 2023. He’ll likely start the year as a starter and could move to the bullpen when others get healthy. Dunning had a 3.70 ERA in 2023.
The Rangers have another pitcher who started and came out of the bullpen in 2023 with Bradford. He too will likely move to the bullpen at some point. Bradford had a 5.3 ERA in 2023.
Notes: Jacob deGrom (RHP), Max Scherzer (RHP) and Tyler Mahle (RHP) are recovering from injury and won’t be ready for Opening Day. Newly-signed Michael Lorenzen (RHP) also won’t be up to speed to start the year with the club.
