Major League Baseball is about to start and teams have prepared their pitching rotations. Here is the Tampa Bay Rays 2024 projected pitching rotation.
Eflin will have to be great at the top of the rotation, as the Rays lost some talent and have some injuries. He tied for the American League lead with 16 wins last season and had 3.5 ERA.
The 24-year-old pitched well for the Guardians last season before getting traded to the Rays. He posted a 5.36 ERA in 10 games started for the Rays.
Littell spent time with the Red Sox and Rays last year, pitching better in Tampa Bay. He went 3-6 with an ERA of 3.93
The Rays acquired Pepiot from the Dodgers this offseason. In two MLB seasons, Pepiot has a 5-1 record and a 2.76 ERA.
Waguespack has bounced around in his career, but due to injuries, will likely be in the Opening Day Rotation for the Rays. He has a career ERA of 5.08 over 27 games.
Notes: Taj Bradley (RHP) will miss time with a right pec strain. Shane Baz, Shane McClanahan, Drew Rasmussen and Jeffrey Springs are also injured to start the season.
