The Seattle Mariners have completed a trade with the Miami Marlins for relief pitcher JT Chargois according to Ken Rosenthal.
Chargois has made 15 appearances for the Marlins this season, posting a 1.62 ERA. The seven-year vet is having the best season of his career, bringing his ERA for his MLB time down to 3.40.
The Mariners have a solid bullpen with a 3.76 ERA this season, so Chargois will add to that. They currently sit at 56-52 and are in playoff contention.
There is no reported return for the Marlins yet.
