Major League Baseball is about to start and teams have prepared their pitching rotations. Here is the San Francisco Giants 2024 projected pitching rotation.
Webb pitched the most innings in the National League last year with a 11-13 ERA and 3.25 ERA. He is being rewarded with an Opening Day start.
Snell was signed late this offseason to give more juice to the rotation. In San Diego last season, Snell had a 14-9 record and a league-leading 2.25 ERA.
Hicks pitched well for both the Blue Jays and Cardinals last season. He had a 3.29 ERA and a record of 3-9. Hicks will likely start the season in the rotation, but could be moved to the bullpen later on.
At 21 years old last season, Harrison was able to get some reps at the big league level. He had a 4.15 ERA in seven games pitched.
Winn pitched in nine games last season for the Giants and now will have a larger role. He had a 4.68 ERA in nine games pitched. Winn could be moved to the bullpen when the rest of the rotation is healthy.
Notes: Robbie Ray (RHP) and Alex Cobb (RHP) both will return from injuries later in the season.
