

The Cincinnati Reds have completed a trade with the Athletics for outfielder Miguel Andujar, according to Ari Alexander. There are no reports on who will be sent to the Athletics in the deal.
Andujar, 30, is a nine-year veteran who has played for the Yankees, Pirates and Athletics in his career. In his nine seasons, he has batted .277 with 49 home runs and 206 RBIs. This season, Andujar has batted .298 with six home runs and 26 RBIs.
The Reds are 57-52 and are three games back of a National League Wild Card spot. They have been active before the trade deadline, adding third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes and starting pitcher Zack Littell as well.
The Athletics have traded some of their players before the deadline to prepare for the future, including closer Mason Miller and JP Sears.
