
The Pittsburgh Pirates have acquired pitcher Josh Walker from the Mets according to Robert Murray. There is no report on the return for the Mets.
Walker pitched 10 games for the Mets this season, but had been previously designated for assignment. He posted a 5.11 ERA. Last season, he appeared in 14 games with an 8.10 ERA.
The Pirates will try to get more out of Walker as they make a push for the playoffs.
