Phillies Acquire Corey Dickerson from Pirates

The Phillies have acquired outfielder Corey Dickerson from the Pirates, source tells ESPN.

Dickerson will basically help give this team more depth with the team already having Bryce Harper, Jay Bruce and Scott Kingery. Dickerson has been injured for a portion of the season, but he’s still hitting .317/.376/.556 through 43 games this season. He also had a two-homer night on July 30, likely helping his trade value. The 30-year-old will remain in Pennsylvania, but this time with a team in the playoff picture.

The Pirates will receive a player to be named later, along with international bonus money.
