
The Baltimore Orioles are finalizing a trade to acquire pitcher Jack Flaherty from the Cardinals according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan.
Flaherty, 27, has a 4.43 ERA this season with a 7-6 record. Over his career, he has posted a 41-31 record with an ERA of 3.58.
The Orioles are trying to compete for a championship, as they currently lead the AL East with a 65-41 record.
St. Louis has started to build for the future by trading away established players like Flaherty and Jordan Hicks. There is no reported return for this trade as of yet.
