Welcome back to The Game Haus’s MLB Farm System Watch series. Today, we will look at who is standing out among the NL East prospects.
Farm System Watch will look at players who are top-30 prospects for their given team and have yet to make their major league debut.
Next Up: Drue Hackenberg (RHP)
Current Level: AAA Gwinnett
2026 Stat Line: 25.1IP/2.49ERA/1.18WHIP
Hackenberg has struggled throughout his career with consistency, partially due to injury. He gets ground balls at a pretty high rate, but has trouble missing barrels at times. His control has been iffy, but the stuff is there and can be effective when it is on.
Top Prospect: Cam Caminiti (LHP) [MLB #45]
Current Level: A+ Rome
2026 Stat Line: 53IP/4.58ERA/1.36WHIP
Caminiti has a high ceiling as a pitcher, coming into the draft as a two-way player. He has a great fastball and a deceptive delivery, but can struggle at times to land his secondary offerings, a slider and a change, for strikes. The Braves seem to project him as a starter in the middle of their rotation in the future.
Next Up: Kemp Alderman (OF)
Current Level: AAA Jacksonville
2026 Stat Line: 171AB/.287AVG/.868OPS
A corner outfielder with a strong arm but limited range, Alderman has incredible pop in his bat. His exit velocities can be eye-popping, and he continues to get better against off-speed pitching.
Top Prospect: Thomas White (LHP) [MLB #12]
Current Level: AAA Jacksonville
2026 Stat Line: 24.2IP/4.01ERA/1.46WHIP
White has been a fast climber in the Marlins’ system, jumping multiple levels in two seasons. He has a good fastball and a fantastic wipeout slider. White’s issue thus far has been command, mainly due to a difficulty with his mechanics. If his command improves, look out.
Next Up: Jack Wenninger (RHP)
Current Level: AAA Syracuse
2026 Stat Line: 59.1IP/3.34ERA/1.38WHIP
Wenninger is known for a truly plus splitter that can neutralize both right and left-handed batters. His other main offerings are good as well, and his control continues to improve throughout his time in the minor leagues.
Top Prospect: Ryan Clifford (1B/OF)
Current Level: AAA Syracuse
2026 Stat Line: 256AB/.199AVG/.699OPS
Clifford has shown a great swing from the left side of the plate, with impressive strength and power. He has struggled with chasing pitches and whiffing on breaking balls, but his strikeout rate has improved over the last couple of years. He can play first or corner outfield and has a good arm.
Next Up: Keaton Anthony (1B)
Current Level: AAA Lehigh Valley
2026 Stat Line: 96AB/.313AVG/.949OPS
Anthony will stick at first base, but has been a good hitter throughout his minor league career. He has a contact-first approach with a decent amount of power when he needs it. His whiff rate is very low, though he does tend to hit a lot of ground balls.
Top Prospect: Aidan Miller (SS) [MLB #14]
Current Level: AAA Lehigh Valley
2026 Stat Line: N/A
Miller has consistently improved on his swing mechanics over the last few seasons, and that has led him to unlock a lot of power and strike out less. He is a great base-stealer and has really good baseball instincts.
Next Up: Seaver King (SS) [MLB #98]
Current Level: AAA Rochester
2026 Stat Line: 244AB/.316AVG/.922OPS
King can fly. His sprint speed is elite, giving him a huge advantage both on the bases and in the field. At the plate, he has cut down his chase rate tremendously, which has helped him tap into a good amount of raw power.
Top Prospect: Eli Willits (SS) [MLB #4]
Current Level: A+ Wilmington
2026 Stat Line: 228AB/.298AVG/.967OPS
Willits was drafted straight out of high school, and the 18-year-old has shown why. His contact skills are great for his age, and that, along with power, will only continue to develop as he gets more experienced. He is a switch-hitter who can run and is aggressive on the basepaths.
