Major League Baseball is about to start and teams have prepared their pitching rotations. Here is the Minnesota Twins 2024 projected pitching rotation.
1. Pablo Lopez RHP
In his first season in Minnesota, Lopez made the All-Star Game. He had a good season with 11-8 with a 3.66 ERA and will be the top starter for the Twins to open the season.
2. Joe Ryan RHP
Ryan, 27, had a dip in his production in 2023 with an 11-10 record and an ERA of 4.51. He still pitched decently and more will be expected of him this season.
3. Bailey Ober RHP
In 26 starts during the 2023 season, Ober went 8-6 with a 3.43 ERA. The tall righty pitched the most innings of his career at 144.1.
4. Chris Paddack RHP
Paddack returned from Tommy John surgery in 2023 to pitch in five innings at the end of the year. He is now healthy and has a 4.21 career ERA.
5. Louie Varland RHP
Due to an injury, Varland will be in the rotation at the start of the season. The 26-year-old started and came out of the bullpen last season with a 4.63 ERA.
Notes: Anthony DeSclafani (RHP) will miss the start of the season with a right forearm strain.
