Major League Baseball is about to start and teams have prepared their pitching rotations. Here is the Kansas City Royals 2024 projected pitching rotation.
Ragans will get the Opening Day start after impressing the Royals at the end of the season. He had a 5.92 ERA for the Rangers last season, but after getting traded to the Royals, he had a 2.64 ERA.
The veteran is on his sixth team in six years. He had a solid season for the Padres in 2023, finishing with a 14-4 record and 3.22 ERA.
Lugo was also on the Padres in 2023 and is now on the Royals. He had an 8-7 record with an ERA of 3.57 in 2023.
In 2024, Singer will be looking to rebound. He had a rough season in 2023 with an 8-11 record and a 5.52 ERA.
Marsh started and came out of the bullpen for the Royals in 2023. He finished the season with a 3-9 record and 5.69 ERA.
Notes: Jordan Lyles (RHP) also battled for the fifth starter spot, but will start the year in the bullpen.
